Hello Folks, basically the job wants me to get MCSE certified and have told me to order whatever i need for the exams. Now for anyone who has already done these exams what books did you use if any? I will definitely be getting one set of books so are the Microsoft or Sybex ones better? Any other useful hints or tips are greatly appreciated, brain dumps etc. And what electives did you choose outside of the core requirements and why?

    Thanking you all in advance

    Thump

It doesn't really matter, both cover anything you will need to know, sybex are probably an easier read.

electives should be chosen on something you're intrested in or want to learn more about.

Have used both and would definatly say sybex is easier to read. MS Press sends me to sleep. Also the sybex CD has handy flashcards and the practise tests are very good. Test king is also very good.

thanks for the input, the electives are kind of dictated by the job as we do alot of exchange etc, so ill probably go with the Sybex books then as the info in them will be the same, but the delivery will be better.

    thanks
