    Hi,

this is wreaking my head. Does anyone remember about 8 or 9 years ago there was a Jacket fad for all the northside dublin lads.... The jacket was like a mountaineering jacket, and you would pull the string in the middle of it to close it in a stylish way, which was the way at the time...

does anyone remember the name of the jacket ???

It sorta looked like this, but you could pull it tight around the belly

Yeah scanda or goretex was the name. Goretex is a type of material jackets are made from, it's water proof yet breathable. Scanda just made cheap ones for cheapy knackers. Are you looking to get one?

They were berghaus in Glasgow, the green was especially popular, I couldn't afford the real one so my Mum got me a really cheap green anorak for Christmas 'cos it was the closest she could get to one that looked like it (the real ones were over £100). Commonly worn with alot of Jewellery from Argos and Kappa tracksuits.:(
