    Hallo there.
Doing research for work and have to find fillums that contain scenes involving < a group of guys, in a bar or whatever, standing around having a drink, slagging eachother and laughing (random, I know) > The reference is 'Swingers' (1996) but more contemporary, involving smart, sarcastic banter/humour. I've come up with some stuff but if anything springs to mind, I'd muchly appreciate suggestions, keeping in mind I'll be spending the weekend watching these... Thanks...

Excellent scene in the bar across from the office with Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris, & Jonathan Pryce

that stock market flick boiler room has a good scene in a bar.

Theres also a great scene in i think its called the Pianist - (harvey keitel old flick) in a cafe

and then this mightnt be relevant but A bronx tale when the bikers get the sh*t kicked out of them in the bar

The scene in Philidelphia where Denzel Washington is sitting in a bar and some of the other lawyers start slagging him for representing a gay man. Then he comes back by coming on to the main slagger.

It might not be exactly what you're looking for but it's all I could think of.

Im not sure - its about keital trying to be a pianist, but he funks up at the 'interviews' - the scene in the cafe is when his old man is sitting there with a little radio playing a tune - and a yuppy asks him to turn it down and a bit of hell breaks loose....

Out of sheer curiosity, what's your title, or your prospective title (as I know that this may yet be refined as you progress with the writing)?

At a bar drinking...what exactly are you looking for in your examples.

I hope I'm not hassling you by asking these questions...as I know that a researcher's relationship with their topic is very much a love, hate one.

Best of luck with it though.
