    Well watched rep of ireland in HD last night and was well impressed with the picture , unfortunately not the game:( .
    The future looks bright for premiership games in HD.
    Overall it was definately worth its fees.
    Opinions welcome.

    I though tonight was going to be the first game in HD, are you sure they just didn't up scale the picture?

    it say's the uk's first HD match.
    It was definately in HD and not upscaled as i could see the FAI badge imprinted into the back of the jersey.:D
    and that should'nt be possible with SD , upscaled or not.
    Display confirmed 1080i.
    Watched the england b game last night also , same PQ.very impressive.

    Sky arent updating the EPG then. there was no HD in the synopsis for the Ireland match
