You need perfect vacuums on both sides of Tri-iso for it to work. Like a thermos flask.
I haven't seen them using that in Scandinavia.
They use Softboard over the rafters on half the roofs in Switzerland.

    O.K. Viking,
If installed correctly, would it be as good as if not better than
    the regular insulation about ?

How do you install it correctly to get a vacuum on both sides?

    Hey viking-house,

i didn't take time to read that site but why point there ? why not point to the manufacturer's site ? they say nothing about needing a vacuum - also where could you ever get a perfect vacuum in a building situation ?

salem - have a look at the following site - the manufacturer's site (in english) http://www.actis-isolation.com/uk/installationguide.php

btw I installed the actis ts-250 product recently in a new extension - superb job but obviously only one of many options possible.
