    Haven't updated any news in awhile and there's a few things happening so here goes

    Forthcoming Gigs
    Jam celebrates 5 years this summer and we have a few gigs lined up. Long term targets such as A Trak and Kool DJ Herc will be coming and we will hopefully see the return of acts such as People Under the Stairs and Cash Money (back soon) before the year is out too. Kool Herc is the only DJ from the holy trinity of hip-hop (including Afrika Bambataa and Grandmaster Flash) not to have played Jam so we wanna make that happen.

    Meanwhile I'm putting together a hip-hop week in Cork from June 25th in the run up to the Kanye gig. There will be Jam specials on the Friday before and on the Sunday of his first gig and maybe even the Monday (we'll see). We will have guests booked for a couple of these nights and also there will be a Rapture hip-hop special on the Saturday before the gig with hip-hop classics in the main room and guests in the foyer.
    Jam Junior will be kicking off hip-hop week for the under 18s on the 25th with myself, Suzi K, Niall, Bony, Jaae, Mickey Gatch, Sintar and more and there will also be some hip-hop workshops (most probably Triskel related)

    There will be an End of Exam Jam special in the main room this Friday with myself and Colm Kenefick while next week Giles Peterson will be spinning (June 2nd)

    Also some workshops to be announced and hopefully we'll have an Elementary or two announced in the next few days with loads of other Cork DJs and MCs
