SC is shaping up to be pretty tasty alright, been playing TA on LAN recently and there still isnt an RTS who can outspam that game, but SC is looking to be a worthy successor, roll on 2007.

Out of curiosity - what sort of command and control is there? Video looks like most battles will devolve into auto-engage as units move past each other en-masse?

Given the sheer scale of the warefare i imagine most 'grunt' units will be moving on automated paths to whatever waypoint you set(some of the attack modes are plain cool mind you) , though given this is similar to TA in this regard it also involved alot of micromanagement if the player desired for controlling strategic/powerfull units as you liked.....
