    Any sign of mackeral yet? I'm very keen to get the boat out for a bit of bashing.

    No sign of them around Balbriggan yet.

    Some of the boys went out to give it a go last week but had no joy.
    They didn't even see any fry either.

    How about keeping us all posted lads when anyone makes first contact with them?

    a few being caught out in Donegal Bay, but not really big numbers, €90 for box of mackeral in Killybegs:eek: .
    Plenty out in Achill but the weather has kept the boats in.

    It looks like the mackeral have made it to the East coast.
    Some of my friends caught about 20 on saturday off the back of Lambay island on feathers.
    Here comes some good summer fun.....:)
