The second annual Whiplash Metalfest will take place in Sligo over the bank holiday weekend of Aug 4-6th. A weekend ticket can be bought from Tickets.ie for little over €20 - just click here and have it delivered to your door.

Bump. Because the Sunday night is being held a short distance outside of the city centre, there will be 1-2 FREE minibuses going to and from the venue every half hour or so. Details of these buses will be posted closer to the date.

Not at all. You can pay on the door each night, only you basically make a saving of €10 if you buy a weekend ticket online.

Update: DUNDALK fiends Manifest will now be opening Friday night instead of Interrogate. Interrogate will be headlining the Battle of The Bands Sunday afternoon in McGarrigles, O' Connell St., 3-7PM.

Of course you can pay on the door. There's a very good chance that all 3 nights will be packed to the rafters though, so just make sure you get there as early as possible to avoid disappointment!
