    Looking to join a band and gig regularly. I'm 30, been playing ten
    years, have recent gigging experience, pro gear and transport. Based in
    city centre.

    Not looking to conquer the world or be on MTV. While I'd consider myself
    a reliable player with passion and high standards, I do have a 9-5 job
    (wouldn't turn down the MTV appearance though).

    Musical loves: Anything except metal, male-ego-driven hackneyed
    rawk'n'roll, dance and covers bands. I'm open-minded and would love to
    try something different.

    Let me know if you're interested and can supply a rough sample of your
    sound.

    What kind of "different" do you mean? :) I'm looking to put together a band/project at the moment, with a view to trying out a whole plethora of mixed and matched genres (prog, indie, electronica, grunge, acoustic). I don't have much in the way of samples of my solo stuff but I'm also in another band (http://myspace.com/fadedmotorwaycronies - not me singing but I'd be looking to do so in the new project) so that could give you an idea of my guitar/composing style. And you can see my listening influences here if you wanna look.

    We are looking for a professional minded bass person in the Cork area to add to our sound doing Covers and Originals. I have been a drum person for many years and played with a number of acts in the US Germany and now here in cork to get something rolling.

    Apologies, should have updated that post. We took the songs down when we realised MySpace's disclaimer now essentially signs ALL RIGHTS to your music over to the charming Rupert Murdoch. I'll PM you a link with some mp3s from our latest recording.
