[REQUEST] Garda Auction

    No - I am not looking for a Garda before anyone says... ;)

    Anyone ever get a bike at one of these auctions?
    Any idea when the next one is? - I see there was one in Feb and before that in September.

    I was at one and all they sell is a load of crap Anything that has a bit of value and is actually worth something people have their eye on and will outbid you on it if they know they will make a profit on it sellin it on. And whats worse is that people pay over the odds for this crap thinkin theyre gettin a good offer.

    Take my advice and dont waste your time. There was only one last month i think so there wont be one for about three of four months again.

    Grree with this. The local bike mechanics are always in there to get anything that requires little or no work that can be sold on quickly. Its a nice idea but your chances of picking up a bargain are slim
