I was telling a couple of guys how pride is a million years better than UFC. Turns out I'm not alone... THis survey is representative only of the respondents who took it, as in mostly Americans, English speaking, computer using etc etc.

what i want to know is who voted that they don't like Grand Prix Tournaments?????!!!!!!

I enjoy both shows but for me the main difference is the rules. I think the Prides decision to allow head stomps, knees from north/south, etc... keep it a more realistic form of combat than the UFC.

That and watching Fyodor constantly kick ass, when is this guy going to lose?

I think people may not like the GP Tournaments because you then have a champ in that weight class, and GP CHamp as well, but no real guarantee that they will meet in the ring??

yeah I filled out that survey at the time. Looks like only 2 people from Ireland voted, I wonder who the other guy was?

Tbh, there's nothing unexpected in the survey. All the results are as I'd expect them..

Like the Shogun/Wanderlei thing. That was a big let down.

I think they are good because they allow for some match ups that would otherwise never happen in the No.1 contender situation, like when Randleman fought Fyodor. That was great because that fight with Cro Cop was tailor made for CC to win so he could have the long anticipated battle with Fyodor but then Randleman knocked him out! Great!
