Very strange film for Nicholas Cage to be in, but hey.

Just after checking out this trailer on Apple.com and I have to say that it looks like it might be an alright movie. Well, since I haven't read the comic books I mean. Seems alot like Constantine somewhat ..

I'll check this one out methinks.

I think it's a little early to be saying that. It's only started filming.

That's not true, it would have been a summer release only they pushed it back to 2007 for marketing reasons....Marvel didn't want too many superhero blockbusters coming out during the same period, or something to that effect.

That's not true, it would have been a summer release only they pushed it back to 2007 for marketing reasons....Marvel didn't want too many superhero blockbusters coming out during the same period, or something to that effect.

kinda true, they didn't want to face DCs Superman release in the same summer, DCs release next year is planned to be wonder woman, and brand wise Ghost Rider has a better chance against her than Superman.
apparently Nic Cage wanted to do it becuase he's been a fan since his childhood,
also featuring Eva Mendes, this is in post production meaning primary filming has wrapped.

I was expecting the "Ghost Rider" who loved speeding, tbh. A few scenes in the trailer reminded me of some Iron Maiden video's, tbh.

Cage loves comics apperently, well he did name his son Kal-El for ****'s sake. I'm looking forward to it even though I think it will stink. With fantastic four I took one look at the trailer and said "No thanks, that'll be ****" with this I'm hopeful

While I hope its good I'm not going to hold my breath. It's being directed by the same guy that did Daredevil and was executive producer on Elektra...never a good start. The upside is the story is being written by David S. Goyer of Batman Begins and Blade Trilogy fame so hopefully the decent script and Cage should save it...

Ghost Rider is primarily a visual comic. What I mean by this is the images are the most important part of it. I mean a biker from hell, in flames, with a visible skull, and a kickass bike...

The film, therefore, should make sure that it puts a lot of emphasis on its visuals, and tbh, the CGI in both trailers, theatrical and teaser, is MUCK!
