As the title suggests, I am going to Central America for 2 weeks from the end of first week in June.

Flying in to Belize to spend a week there (including diving, trip to Tikcal(sp??) in Guatemala where Star Wars clips was filmed).

The weekend after we will go to El Salvador (San Salvador to be precise) for a few days to visit a friend. I'm guessing this place is not the nicest - what can I do here?

The second week will be spent in Costa Rica taking in the Arenel volcano and rain forests, plus a bit of San Jose and maybe some beaches.

Has anyone been that can offer some ideas about what they enjoyed etc in these places and tourist traps / things to avoid?
