    I love that blue cast. It also looks like great fun :)

    Something about the flame being cut off though, just doesn't seem quite 'balanced' to me. I know you wouldn't want to be further away and lose detail on the disk itself, and a lower angle wouldn't show as much of it burning and melting either so I can't even give a helpful suggestion. Maybe it's just me. I'll come back later and look again and it'll prolly look different to me - that quite often happens I find.

    P.S. If you're posting something for C&C it'd be quite nice to hear about your inspiration, how you went about it, what you think of the shot for yourself even...

    thanks for the comments,
    @ Elven, the shot was for another site where the theme was "failure" i could not think of a thing so took my old HDD and set fire to it.

    Do i like the shot. Yes, is there something i could change about it to make it better. Like you said maybe move back a little and try to get the entire flame in shot. i might also like to try a longer exposure to see what that would look like.
