    Hey,

I need toget my car serviced. It has 124k miles on it. It's a Seat Toledo 1.9TDI (110BHP model).

It's not had the timing belt changed since 49k miles (or so the service book says)

Theres a couple of little things wrong with it.

    - Remote central locking. The key doesn't work.
    - The electric mirrors don't work.
    - Rear left window is a bit jammed.
    - Front headlight is a little wonky
    - Glove box spring handel is broken off.
    - Cover is missing from the cup holder.

apart from that she's lovely ;-D

If i bring this in to a garage and ask them to give it a full service. Do you know roughly how much this will cost? Will the main dealer do all that needs to be done? or can i bring it anywhere.

    Cheers

All I can help you with is the timing belt- I got mine done lately (01 Bora Diesel) and cost me 300euro from a local mechanic I know very well!So in a dealer I'd imagine it would cost way more. Its well due a change on your car going by mileage!
The interior stuff and things not working/falling off is typical VW/Seat/Skoda!
Might get some of that second hand in a breakers yard.
Good choice of car though, give great economy and are good to go.

    - Remote central locking. The key doesn't work.
    New battery in the key?
    - The electric mirrors don't work.
    Did you check the fuses?

    - Rear left window is a bit jammed.
If you are any bit confident why not try taking off the door card and seeing what is wrong
    - Front headlight is a little wonky

Loose? New headlights are generally bloody expensive, might be an idea to find one from a scrapper rather than asking a main dealer just to fit one.
    - Glove box spring handel is broken off.
    - Cover is missing from the cup holder.

Ebay is the normally the best for getting these small things. Scrap dealers normally dont want to bother selling you such a small part and main dealers can't be bothered ordering it (or else charge too much, or require you buy a whiole dashboard or something...)
