Paypal not accepting CC?

    I just bought an item on ebay.co.uk and went to pay using Paypal as usual.

    However, my payment was subsequently returned as I had used my credit card as the source of funds. After reading the seller's small print, I see they won't accept Paypal using a CC.

    So now what do I do? Any way of getting funds into my Paypal a/c other than selling something first - funds transfer from an Irish bank a/c doesnt seem to work?

    :confused::confused::confused:

    Use the "Send Money" option in PayPal. That should (from memory) take the money from your credit card to fund the payment.

    I don't think you can load money into your account, you have to have a balance from receiving. The seller has a personal paypal account (which does not incur fees). You could ask the seller to set up another paypal account and you can send it with your cc (with a bit added on to cover the paypal fee) to that one. the seller can then send the balance from this new account to his personal account.

    Or you will have to set up a dud paypal account to pay your real account and then pay the seller. A pain in the ass tbh. Tight arse seller tbh too!

    I think you should have one more payment processor with paypal such as if you are located in UK/EU you should use worldpay/chronopay, I hope this might solve the problem.
