Channel 4 & 5 in ROI

Hi there I have a sky ROI subscription, is there any way I can tune in channel 4 and 5? I see that it is quite cheap to purchase UK viewing cards on eBay, if I buy one can I just slot it in each time I want to watch these channels, will that work or will it cause damage to my ROI card? I bought one on ebay a while back and slot it in when I want to watch something on 4 or 5. My ROI card works just fine. After all, I am still paying my Sky subscription !
