    Well, soon enough anyway.

I had to leave my last band due to college, but I'm finishing up now..I hope, and I'm dying to get back out there.

I plan on heading off for 2 weeks, so I probably wont be able to audition/jam until mid-late June, although I might have time to squeeze one or two in the first week.

Anway, I'm 21, been playing for about 4 years a couple of which were in the IDA. Playing wise, my biggest influences would probably be Greg Upchurch, Taylor Hawkins and Chad Smith.

I'm open to any style of rock, except Heavy Metal or Punk.

I can't drive yet and I live in Bray, so I can only practice in the city centre, or the southside, in place that has a kit.

    Cheers.

    Is it originals or covers?

    Got any samples?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 160 ✭✭egon spengler

originals, we should have stuff up in a month at the very least, we recorded a demo but it was mixed very badly

the quality of the mix doesn't really matter, as long as it gives an idea of your style.

I wont know how I'm set for jamming etc for about another week.

We are a dublin based band in desperate need of a new drummer as we have gigs in Crawdaddy, Kennedys, The Hub, and the Voodoo Lounge in July. YOu can check out our music on www.Myspace.com/Vemorana , Although the demos there are not truly representative of our live sound. There are five of us (without a drummer) and we play a variety of instruments from trumpet, clarinet, violin, mandolin, accordion, through to theremin, Harmonophone, Synths and samplers ( as well of course as guitars and bass).Major influences range from radiohead, elbow, the National, through to more extended jam type bands like Godspeed you black emperor and explosions in the sky If you're interested contact us: Vemorana@gmail.com

Should be a video of us live in Crawdaddy in our flash box on bebo by next wednsday ( should give you a better idea of what you'd be in for):
