    Hi,
TESCO have a half price offer on these two wines at the moment. Has anyone tasted either of them and would they be suitable for a wedding. Thanks

    Red Wine: (€6.99)
    Hardys Crest Cabernet Shiraz
    White Wine: (€6.99)
    Hardys Crest Chardonnay

If you aren't much of a wine drinker, and 7 euro-ish per bottle seems to be your budget per bottle, the most agreeable wines for that price are:

    Whites:

    *German*
    Black Tower 75cl 7.12
    Blue Nun 7.12

    *Italian*
    Faustino Vii White 75cl 7.12

    *French*
    Piat D'or White 75cl
Buy Any 2 For 12.00 Save 1.02- add 2 for offer

^^That is a nice wine for the price, and a good offer on right now in Tesco.

    Reds:

I'm not a huge red fan but the ones I find drinkable are-

    *South African*
Long Mountain Ruby Cabernet 75cl €7.95

    *North American*
Blossom Hill Californian Red 75cl €7.27

From the weddings I have been to most people drank beer, cider, vodka, gin etc. A few may take a glass of wine for the toast / dinner / formalities sake, but after the first sip or two most people left theirs because it was vinegar-like. But poor wines will taste that way imo. I've tried and bought the above wines several times, and find them very drinkable.

Don't be tempted to buy any box sets for values sake, have a wine drinker with you. Tesco have a box set of Jacobs Creek on at the moment, and I wouldn't use it to strip paint off the walls. ;)

...or you could just buy a bottle of each, open them with some close friends and decide if you like them?
