Hey guys, I recently started using my brothers 1/10 rc nitro car..

I've had a few problems, One, over the weekend, when the pull start handle came off, and the line recoiled into the starter, resulting in me taking the whole car apart, opening the starter, and fixing the problem (very shortened version of the story..)

and now yesterday, I tried to adjust the steering, as it strongly veered off to the left, getting worse bit by bit at a time, until it wouldn't go straight at all.

So I opened the steering servo up, (mistake I know) and the cogs all came apart, in an order which I don't know. As we speak, I'm trying to put them back in the right position, but it's a huge challenge, especially with the patience, considering I spent 3-4 hours yesterday working with it and about an hour so far today. Just wondering, would anyone know if it'd be possible to find out the setup inside one of these sanwa servos? Or somewhere, maybe online I can source a new one on the cheap? Also, does it have to be that exact model? or can I fit a different servo, but use the same arm on the top?

    Cheers for any advice!

    Wes

I dono about the inside of the servo but you can just get a different servo and take the screw out of the top and use any arm(most). Your problem in the first place was the steering servo wasen,t centred.

The only way to know what is the correct way to arrange the gears inside a servo, is to open up a new servo and memorise what you see ! :p
I know that's not what you hoped to hear, but when you know how they fit in, you don't need instructions.
I really don't think I could describe in print how to do it.

If you need a replacement any of the Dublin hobbyshops can sort you out.
The links - tel numbers you need are HERE - GENERAL STICKY THREAD
