What C Band can you see here? I'd guess Badr C (ex-Arabsat) for one.

Not 100% of cheap ****e FTA boxes support C-band but both recent Lidl offers do, so you're right there.

    or google for 'BSC621-2'.

Depends on the dish, but Arabsat 26E and PAS9 58W have high output over Ireland and should be possible even with small dishes (~1M or maybe less).

Unlike analog, there's really no difference between digital C-band and Ku-band so all you need is a receiver that allows you to change the LO settings for the LNB/F. All the ones I've seen have this feature. Even a POS that doesn't, such as a digibox, could be used for C-band if you do the sums e.g. 3722MHz equiv. to 11028MHz (IF = 1428MHz).

What I was getting at was that only the higher end receivers support corotors with polarizer control outputs (+5V, Pulse, GND) and voltage switching of bands with 'Wideband' Ku LNBs. By contrast, the LNBFs above use simple 13/18V switching for polarity and 22KHz tone switching of the Ku bands - just like your standard universal LNBF.

Thanks. I was going to use an old Drake to control the LNBF and feed the IF to digital receiver. But this might be better.
