I am just trying to get to grips with a data projector for a presentation tomorrow and have a small problem with the brightness.
I have the settings on the projector itself on min for brightness and contrast but its still very bright.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this!?
Its connecting to a laptop btw.

Set the brightness settings in the Display control panel if possible.

Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advanced and you should have a tab for your graphics chipset. In that tab, hopefully there'll be an option to change the brightness.

No joy.. it had a minor effect on the laptop screen but nothing much on the projector. Its at minimum brightness and contrast now.. its usable but not the best.

is there a "quiet" or long life mode on the projector? It may ramp down the juice going to the lamp.
