    I found this as a referrer on one of my sites.

    " XXXX:++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++"

    No idea what it is, it appears as a link in my webstats. Google wasnt much help, so any thoughts appreciated.

    Have you got access to the raw logs?

    Hey Blacknight,

    I do indeed have access to the logs. I have been trawling for something as above but cant seem to find anything, will it be the same as above or will it appear as an address.

    I was just wondering what the log entries were around that point.. You might get a UserAgent or something ...

    The webstats actually generates the top 15 user agents. Any ideas what it might be?

    The UserAgent would be visible in the raw logs, so if you extracted the section of your logs where that entry was you might have a better idea

    Basically it is someone obscuring the browser's user agent string using a net privacy program or similar.
