    Eh no.

    Some play videos, some don't, come have colour screen, some don't.
    I want to know which ones do and don't.

    Okay, I'll play nice. 5Gen has colour screen and plays video. 6Gen hasn't been launched, but rumours abound. 4th gen has greyscale display. Need any more information? try google or apple.com

    Is 4th Gen not the Picture iPod and 3rd Gen the greyscale?

    Just found this, http://ipodlinux.org/Generations I guess the regular 4th gen is grey scale and the Photo is the colour off-shoot.
