My Prince Albert Experience

    Hey Hey Kids,
Just back from Celestial Ring after getting the Prince Albert done.

All in all it went pretty painless, He started off by cleaning the area as usual and then using a small metal tube and lube, he pushed it down my japseye. I have to say this was the most uncomfotable bit of the whole piercing. The piercer then got the needle and met the tube at the back of my shaft, a quick 5 second burst of pain and it was all over.

Wrapped up the piercing in a glove and tissue, I feel like a tool walking around with it on but theres already a fair bit of blood so Im not taking it off! The piercer said to expect a lot of blood tonight so I'll let you know how it goes!

Most painful part was the tube down the japseye, the actual piercing didnt hurt all that much. Getting slight tinges now and then but all in all a pretty painless operation.

Cost was €60 and Celestial Ring are the place to go, nice, clean and friendly establishment.

Nice one :D, Just fyi the first few time you pee submerge you dick in some warm salt water to stop it stinging.

Have mine a few years now and the only bit of the procedure that was uncomfortable was the tube down the japseye. Make sure you wrap it up before you go to bed because I bled very heavily and ruined more than one pair of boxers

Both of you found the tube down the japs eye uncomfortable really? I didn't think anything of it really. Hmm i'm probably just a bigger perv then you two. On a side note get a princes wand for it when it heals.

Woke up this morning, fair bit of blood in my boxers but nothing too distressing,

Fair bit of pain on the way into work but it all seems grand now.

    Well done.

I wouldn't even say 5 seconds of pain, 5 seconds of "What the feic is that cold...OH!". Listen to Amazing Emmet - Warm salt water when your peeing, it really will sting otherwise.

I find it doesn't make one bit of difference and never had one split because of it

Condoms are pretty essential for the first while, I never had one burst on me either.

That said I got bored with the PA and have it out now a few months, the next thing is to convert to an Appadravaya, not the most essential thing at the moment as tattoos are taking precedence until my sleeve is finished.

<edit> I dont know how anyone can be into that "sounding" stuff, the insertion of the metal sleeve has to be one of the most uncomfortable aspects of getting a PA, if you are into sounding then the chances are you may even like it.

For anyone who doesn't know what sounding is I am providing a ******NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK******* link

    hehehe, fair play Garth.

I've had my Apadravya for almost 2 years now and can't imagine what life would be like without it.
As with any genital piercings the rule of thumb goes minimum of 2 weeks before any form of rough play with it, but a month is considered a decent time to allow for healing. That said, the longer you leave it to heal the better it will be in the long run. for me that was 3 months :D

One thing i must ask people is how do you find the cleaning of it?

Salt Soaks and Salt Baths are grand, and the occasional Saline wash with the Celestial Ring wash is grand. But I've found that cleaning around the bearing (ball) can be quite tricky. Dont want to remove it and used a tooth brush (not mine nor in use) which seemed to clean ok, but anyone got any other tips?

Well its the third day now,
Healing very very well, piercer did a good job. No more blood and only a slight sting when I take a piss. gets a bit tender after a shower too.

Was watching a film last night and some chick started to whip all her clothes off and one thing led to the other and the big fella woke up, bloody painful!!

Dont think id go as far as an apadravya..

Then again when I got my frenulum done I said I'd never get the PA done so who knows!

3 weeks on and its pretty much healed now
Ended up "trying it out" with a member of the opposite sex and holy sh1t....
Best 60 euro I've ever spent!
Started to sting after about 3 hours or so but I kind of expected that!

celestial ring is by far one of the better places to go in dublin to be pierced.. that or bodyshock. your friend was probably one of them "im afraid of needles.." people and jumped as the needle passed through her lip.. that or she has a crooked mouth, and they ligned up the piercing with the upper lip so it wont look crooked on the face.. (if you look at it closley it looks crooked on the bottem lip) if you hada said "in my opinion celestial ring is the worst place to go" then thats fine.. but your talkin direct slander here.

Ive gotten 15 piercings done and every single one of them Ive had done in Celestial Ring. None of the piercing I have are sh1tty little ones either, the guys in Celestial Ring know their stuff. I recommend Celestial Ring to everyone as Ive never had a problem there.

I find it a pity that CR obviously employ some people just to have them there to bring more money in and with "some" of their employees it's obvious that they dont care about the quality of work they are turning out.
The unfortunate part of that is that the good artists/piercers are lumped in together with the crappy ones........any place that would employ some of those people would not be somewhere that I could send people and KNOW they were going to get good service, I shouldn't have to know who's good there so they dont get **** work done.

The unfortunate part is that CR is based in stephens green, any time I go in there to get something pierced the piercers complain about doing nothing but ears, eyebrows and bellybuttons from all the little Asha heads.
Which is why I always get a smile when I go in there as they know it wont be the average piercing!

Do I have to reserve appointment if Im going to take PA at Celestial Ring or somewhere else? How fast I can get that time?

All thses boy body bits you speak of. I'll have to get myself a biology lesson.

I went into Celestial Ring to ask about a pretty detailed tattoo I wanted to have done. They kept me waiting 45 minutes while they went to get a price and then I went to ask them about it, and it turned out they had forgotten all about me, even though I was sitting right there in from of them. It's not like the shop was massive and I could get lost. And there was only me and one other person inside.

I kinda think the lack of customer service related to the way I was dressed as I had to wear a suit for the poxy office job I had at the time. Even though suits aren't my thing and I never wear them outside work, I felt CR were severly lacking in cutomer service, like they didn't have time for me because I wasn't dressed accordingly. I hate people like that. So i'm gonna take my 400euro tattoo and get it done elsewhere.
