not sure if this is the right place, but i put cable truncking (you know the square stuff about an inch thick used for holding electrical cables) around the edge of my room to hold network cables, it was stuck to the wood laminate floor but now i want it up(no need for ethernet cables anymore thats - good old wireless) and there is white sticky stuff all where it used to be, any ideas on how to get rid?

try pouring a little lighter fluid on it then lighting it on fire... that should melt it off :D

Actually, use a little lighter fluid on a cloth and wipe it off. Works incredibly well. Use it on my guitars so you know there's no risk of damage.

Methylated or white spirits will both do the job.
Depending on the adhesive, hot water with wash up detergent may also shift it with a little elbow grease.

WD-40 is excellent for this job.

Go out and buy a family of leeches, and place them on the affected area. Works like a charm, I find.
