I see....so I have a board up for literally months, I didnt start it myself, but I updated it almost every week religiously to keep it going strong, and then 2 weeks before the gig someone else puts another board up telling people that it COULD be rubbish, well, all I can say is that if it COULD be rubbish you shouldnt have bought a ticket. I personally dont think BFMV and Funeral for a Friend are worth 70Euro, and Im only going for Guns N Roses, since the Crue were dropped. If you dont like GNR dont bother buying a ticket. That goes for everyone.

Youre free to say what you want, just dont waste your money, thats some free advice.

Board? I'm guessing you mean thread.

So if i'm not a GnR fan, i shouldn't be going to the gig? What about all the Bullet Fot My Valentine and Funeral for a Friend fans, would you rather they stay at home?

All gigs COULD be rubbish, but you still buy a ticket. I agree with the OP when he/she says it could be a rubbish gig, becasue it has the potential to be a rubbish gig, like most.

Hey Therapy? have been added to the lineup - so even if the Gunners (v. 1.1) suck, prepare to be rocked!

No absolutely not, you should go to the gig, i just wouldnt advising spending that much money to see two bands that arent going to play for more then 2 hours combined. thats all.

I live in New Jersey and just went to see 3 out of the 4 gigs GNR just played in New York. They were absolutely fantastic. THe hair on the back of my neck stood up when the lights went dark, the opening riff of Welcome to the jungle rang out and Axl's unmistakable scream filled the room.

His voice is as strong as it ever was, he is looking good and is full of energy. The rest of the band will never be Slash, Duff etc but they still put on one hell of a show and play the music with as much passion and conviction as if it were their own.

If you like this type of music then this will be a blistering show, totally unmissable. A rare chance to see a legendary front man do his thing.

I really didn't think much of the RDS show on Friday. Good buzz there - but too many costume changes and dead time in the music to keep the crowd going.
No encore either, and a lot of songs not played.

Metallica was a much better gig last nite (sunday)
    and I prefer guns

Ill agree a lot of the new material wasnt played, but a lot of old favouites were catered for, and thats hardly the bands fault as they were only given 2 hours. I personally wanted to hear 'Estranged' or 'Civil War' but it was never going to happen...and there was an encore, he came out and introduced the band, then Robin did the solo that led into Paradise City
