    getting one of these done next week along with an mri,whats it like? is the contrast substance dangerous ? dont like things being injected into me.

    not a medical whizz, but the dye is used to see if and where there is a blockage in an artey, vein etc. usually given to you to drink, might not taste the greatest. The mri scanner, depends on the kind of pne the hospital has, usually you lie down flat on the table and you are trasnferred into it like you are in a tunnel, you just have to lay still while they are scanning.......
    other than that it is all routine. hope all goes well:)

    You will be fine!

    The nurses or doctors there at the time will be able to explain fully what the procedure entails and what complications are possible. You can ask all the questions you are concerned with then.
