just wondering is there a website for checking out the tech specs of cars, I've been looking at changing my car for ages now and have gone through various stages of wanting different cars and them being out of price range/ insurance range etc...

But no matter what i google i can never seem to find accurate technical info on any car or can only find american information which always only contains the more powerfull versions of cars.

so just wondering if anyone knows of any good websites for checking technical info...

cant seem to find the specs for a 2002 impreza 1.6 rx on either of them, have been told bhp of between 85 and 95 just wondering if anyone can confirm what bhp the car does have?

parkers has a listign for the 93-01 model in 1.6. it's 88bhp, so the newer model is probably around the same.

Either way, it would'nt pull the socks off a dead man, seems well underpowered. A similar year corolla has 109bhp.

the newer 1.6 models are 95bhp

the most recent model (2006) has 99 bhp

does anyone know what the 2002 model actually has? if it was around 95 - 99 bhp then i'd be interested in one but anything under 95bhp would be pointless

I think the 1.6 is pretty pointless any way you look at it.
Octavia TDI 4*4 a much better bet, if you can find one that is!
