    Ok People,

I'm supposed to be flying out to Poland tomorrow for a very important work meeting.

The thing is, I can't seem to find my passport!

Does anyone know what my options are?

Can I travel without my passport???

if anyone has any advice,I'd greatly appreciate it!

    you need your passport
the only countries you can get into without it is england\scotland\wales

actually, more specifically, you will need it to get a flight.
whether you officially need it it in another EU country, im not sure, but you will definately need it for the flight.
i suspect you do need it for official entry into the country anyway.

    look harder...

go to passport office with proof of your travel IE your tickets....if your lucky they might have it done by the end of the day or tomorrow morning....give them a sob story...worked for a mate of mine who went out the night before going away and lost his, he got a new one the next morning before he went

I was in a similar situation recently. Here's what to do:

Ring the passport office, explain the situation and get them to tell you EVERYTHING you need to bring. They will moan about the whole thing, but they can turn out a passport in 2 hours in situations like this.

Here's the bit that can really catch you out though:
One of the things you need is a police signiture on your pics and maybe forms too. Don't make the mistake of thinking you can just pop round to Pearse St station- EVEN IF THE PASSPORT OFFICE SAYS YOU CAN! YOU CAN'T!! TRUST ME! They refuse a handful of people every day for this kind of thing. They say that you have to get all the stamps in your local office. So find out exactly what is needed to be stamped in the passport office and have it all done in advance, preferably by the station in your area (bring proff of address just in case).

I wish you the best of luck!
