Guitarist seeks band for originals

    hey there...

    guitarist seeks band as the title suggests.
    Want to try my hand at originals with some like minded individuals -bass drums vox keys (maybe) altho that can be added in post production eh :D ..something in the vein of Smiths, Suede, Tears, blur , pulp(~ish) ,Moz dramatic stuff with nice chord progressions a la ,say ,the beatles ( i wish) maybe even nick a few hooks ...
    I suppose stuff that harks back to 60's 70's ...stuff that isnt afraid of the jingle jangle or afraid of the funk soul playin style...

    but also rockish punk-based garagey stuff with bluesey solos ..tasty as opposed to fretmelting speed. no double bass drums and that.
    just tryin to tie the threads of what i like...retro rock pop r&B blues and
    eftfield avant garde maybe ...

    Not a whole lot written but lots of ideas.

    lookin for someone(s) that have some music theory cos I'm lacking ...knowledge of the cycle of keys, what chords with what etc.to add music knowhow .a music teacher maybe hahaha come on down Tom B ! like an orchestrator

    Vocals will have to be a fella tho sorry girls .:( cest la vie.
    bass drums its all good.

    Influences: Smiths,Suede, Tears, blur , pulp(~ish) ,Moz as above, doors, steely dan!,hendrix, deep purple, early led zep,iggy,bowie,Juanas Addictione, Beatles, Cream, new stuff like air daft punk royksopp errr Pixies

    hey , im a bassist ,would love to play in a good rock band , im big into most of ur influences ie doors hendrix zep ect . i learnt by ear so i do nt no how much i could help tecnicaly ,but i have a good ear and can improvise well. i also play keys + guitar if thats any use?im from dublin could travel {dont no were ur from] ,so let us no .cheers!

    hey man,
    we are lookin for a creative guitarist to join us at the mo.we have our own rehearsal space with stage and pa ststem.we are mainly writing originals and doin the odd covers gig.we are holding auditions now and if it suits you why not give it a go eh!
    we are based in co. laois.
