    So Im not as good at graphics as the majority of people on this forum but I thought I would post something that I just finished today. It took me 3 hours to complete but I am satisfied with it. I normally do alot of grunge art so I implemented a small bit in here but all and all I think it looks great, some feedback and ideas to improve it would be great!

    it looks cool, but what is it? cd cover, book jacket, double page spread? poster?

    the only thing i might suggest would be regarding the type. if your going to use different typefaces dont use two similar ones, ie. the retro definitions section and the help your country section. similar except for the serifs and never over do it with different fonts.

    good job though, your on the right track.
    you should read up on the 'golden section' and massimo vignelli.

    I don't think it's anything but a piece (it does suggest album art mind)...I like it, the packing tape off to the right is a nice touch...some sort of frame or border might have added to that retro feel maybe? Good stuff.

    It wasnt meant to be anything, just a piece of art, or me messing around. I like the idea of doing a CD Cover though, that would be really interesting..

    Anyway, yes I agree with ye about the fonts. At the time I wanted to just finish up with the piece and move on, but I still have the .psd and I will go back and update it. Once I get off this crappy laptop and move back to my broken computer...
