Building my lap top and I have a choice of two cards.

    256MB NVIDA® GeForce™ Go 7800 or the 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS

Attached is the specs of each. The 7900 seems like the better option but i'm just wondering is it worth paying an extra 100 for it over the 7800.

Go for the GeForce Go 7900 GS as you cant upgrade the GPU once it's in there* and it is faster than the GeForce Go 7800 so you may as well, plus the 7900 are 90nm GPU's so they tend to run cooler than their previous brethren & consume less power.

*Well technically you can with an MXM system but tracking down MXM modules can be a pain in the ass.
