I think Del The Funky Homosapian was the rapper on Gorillaz tune Clint Eastwood.
    Isn't Lord Finesse dead?!

    Great thread, brings back memories.

eh no, he did a gig in Rathmines last year.

Humpty hump is still around, featured on perceptionists lp last year.

I remember reading two or three years ago that Shan was attempting a comeback. I think he's staying behind the scenes for the most part though.

Ah! Del always annoyed the bejesus out of me, just because of his name.
I thought I heard something about Nine on MTV Base the other day, might be wrong there thought.

Christ, what's with all the retarded names? Bring back the days of artists just being called Dave or Pete I say.

Del had an album, or at least a bootleg of an album, out last year.

Opio and A-Plus have been prolific since the souls of mischief days, with the Hiero crew and then solos.I seriously suggest checking out Opio's Triangulation Station, excellent album that came out last year.

Lord Finesse released another album in 99,thats the last I heard of him.

Del has put out piles of good stuff through the last decade.Check out the Both Sides of the Brain and Deltron 3030(I think there is sequel coming out this year, the original's production is incredible)albums. He had a spot on that Wu-Tang Meets Indie Culture disc last year that was pretty nice.

Damn Premo's choice in rapper lost again. :(

Canibus dropped an album last year, although it was trash.Check out Rip The Jacker,if you haven't gotten it already, excellent Stoupe production.

Canibus went and joined the Army but is still pumping out albums/ mixtapes.
Da Lench Mob haven't a hope of doing anything new as they were only riding Cube's coat tails.
Diggedy Das sided with PMD after Hit Squad broke up. I think they released something a few years back. Think this may also be true of K-Solo.
Lord Finesse & Primo are supposed to be doing something with Big L's unreleased tracks.

Nine had some banging tunes but haven't heard of him since The Lying King days. "Whatcha Want" is an absolute classic headnodder. Although that album also had one the ****est verses by one of the ****est named rappers Froggy Frog with his ribbit this and ribbit that.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a new EPMD album. Neither E nor P are MD these days.
Last I heard from Q Tip was on a Stevie Wonder track a few months back.
Last MC Serch I heard was years ago on a track called Mau Mau's. Ironic that a white guy was rapping on a track of that name.

Rakim is supposed to have a new solo album out soon.
Last I heard of Nice & Smooth was Greg Nice rolling with The Beatnuts.

They certainly are not, didn't E try releasing some marvin gaye sampled stuff bout 2-3 years ago. Beats weren't bad i didn't think.

Last i remember hearing was that he approached the execs at (i think it was) Arista at the time saying he wanted to do an album of instrumentals after which he was promptly dropped!

Might be a case for a Tribe reunion too. Q has pretty much disappeared off the scene. Phife's solo effort was pretty poor on the whole i thought, and other than the Lucy Pearl collaboration, ali hasn't being doing alot that i know of (could be wrong there though)
