Any ideas what my baby is worth ?

The time has come to buy a house and because of the stupidity of the market I need to sell off some toys and the one outside the window now has a big € sign on it.
Thing is I am not sure I know what it's worth and it would have to be worth selling for me to get rid so.

    1974 280ce auto
It's had a lot of money spent on it and it really shows.
It is immaculate inside with everything working and original stereo.
There is no cracks on the dash, the wood is good, the seats and carpets are very clean and perfect with no rips or tears.
    It has 115k on it.
It has manual windows electric roof, p/s and central locking.(iffy coz of air leak).
The floors and sills have been replaced and a new wing fitted.
It does however need some work under the bonnet, I reckon about €500 worth but is totally drivable as is and will never break down.

I am realistic even if mine looks better than this

Note to Mods : Please remove if you feel this is an advert, it sort of is to be honest

More pics at weekend (everytime i go out to take them I just take off for a spin in it :) )

Some fresh pics added today although I didn't get a chance to wash it so they don't do it justice. :o

Better watch that's not taken as a warrenty ;)

I can't help you on value but I hope you get a good price for having to part with your toy.

Wow those pictures gave me a trip down memory lane. I owned the exact same car in the same colour blue with the tan leather seats a couple of years ago in Sydney. Used to drive it every day over the syndey harbour bridge to work for over 2 years. You sure gonna miss her when shes gone.....

Holy god! Do people just pull these figures from their asses or are there any realistic grounds for that price?

I know that car. 6 months ago it was owned privately by somebody who needed to sell it, and who had spent alot on it.

My personal opinion is that the car is worth 8-12k, depending on condition and current demand etc., which is impossible to judge over the web.

Cheers Paul, reality is a bitter pill, but I never had any notions mine was worth anything like 20k.

As I said before I am realistic !

Now, I wonder whats behind those chrome arches
