Has anyone ever used a wireless camera/webcam? Can you recommend one? I need to set one up in the front room of my house to watch my car. Someone has been damaging it and I need to catch them in the act.

    Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Yea, there is. Aldi sold them for 70 euro last year. We bought one. Wireless video just a wire for the plug. You get a small box to recieve the signal which connects to your tv scart.

    Dead simple and very effective.

Maplin have a selection of small cameras with wireless transmitters/recievers, but being Maplin they're not that cheap. Is this happening at night? Camera may not do much good if you don't have a good light source outside.

Can you connect this to a DVD recorder and record the signal?

    Try this website.

    www.darkplanets.co.uk OR

This link is probably what you are looking for.

You could actually put it in the car and have it record on your DVD/VCR inside the house.

Seems to be the same spec as cams sold in Maplins etc for much more.

Thanks for the link, that looks very impressive. I wonder what the pic quality is like.
