This is for any LC students or any1 else who has an exam coming up:

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino,
Who by your prayers, obtained from God
That you should be asked at your examinations only propositions that you knew.

Obtain for me that I may succeed like you
in the examination for which I am preparing.

I promise, in turn, to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Hmm... a quick google suggests that Joseph was not the smartest cookie in town, that he suffered intense esctasies and that he was prone to levitation, which left him patron saint of air travelers, aviators and, weirdly, also the mentally handicapped and bad students. He was canonized in 1767 for these efforts.

Anyhow, quite apart from the good man's talents, I hope that he listens to his flock more than his lord:

The lord helps those who help themselves -- the best of luck with your studies + exams! :)

Geesh thanks everyone for those sweet prayers! (so touching!)

I have my Leaving Cert in a few weeks but I've studied hard so hopefully I'll succeed. Remember; If you don't put in the inputs, you won't receive the outputs! I'll be happy but sad when it's all over but it's nice to move on to a new chapter in my life as I hope I'll do well and secure a place in college (preferely Trinity College). It's going to be hard leaving my school where I settled comfortably in in the last six years and that I may never or rarely see some of my classmates and friends again. :(

Again thanks everyone for thinking about us students during this exam time and that my brain will remember everything!

I'm Unitarian and believe in God which I prefer to call "Allah" like Muslims. So I just remind myself that I'm working "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". Life is a journey and destiny is in the hands of Allah.

Well I hope that St. Joseph of Cupertino is helping me too from the Spiritual Realm among the great teachers of the past. Two things to survive an exam are physical energy and spiritual energy!

Exams are tough. I was so stressed with my Leaving Cert. Was still having dreams about it years afterwards. Sorry... not helping am I? Exam success is not the most important thing in life though, it may turn out to be quite un-important for you. I did well in my exams and ended up getting a degree in software development but things have changed and now I have no interest in that area. I'll probably go study theology. It's funny where you end up, so don't worry too much about exams or having it all planned out. Thanks for reminding me exams are starting soon, students will be in my prayers.
