    Don't believe the hype.

Full of pretentious folk, half of whom need to be seen there for some crude form of self-validation, as far as I can tell. The second half are there to see the other half!

Have never had a problem getting in, it might have just been the night - so if you really really need to see the place try a weeknight and you will have zero problem. Having said that, concur 100% with mikedragon32, the place is full of tosspots and completely not worth it.

Was dragged along once and I'd never go back. Full of posers and men who think they're in boybands (vomit!). The music was awful and the drinks were expensive.

Im really bloody curious about this place,

Completely agree, I know its full of idiots who think they're someone and I know any actual 'stars' are going to be in the VIP room, but I still really want to go

Went there a few times when I worked on Grafton Street. Its not worth the money at all, although the music on Thursday nights is good. Still, I think I could find better places to go on a Thursday nite.

Only the odd celeb there. Only famous person I saw was Dr.Cox from Scrubs, rest all stupid Fair City actors or Gavin Friday and that dude Gigi and stupid 'boyband' guys.

Its really crap - they keep it dark to hide the dirt! There's a wierd standoff of ordinary people dressed up to look glam looking at the same ordinary people who are looking back at the first crowd to try and work out if they are famous :o
In the end they're all hairdressers and nobody is famous:rolleyes:

I was there 2 years ago and a pint of guinness was 7 euro.

    Still its your dollar...

Ended up there last Thurs nite, under protest I may add!!!!

First time there and even though I had been out drinking since just after work was well oiled, my first thoughts when I walked in the door was "is that it".

The place is tiny, music leaves a lot to be desired and the I wouldnt rate the place.

Gimme Coppers anyday of the week :D:p

Completely overhyped, bottle of heinken €6 (had to drink bottles as any larger on tap looked like muck)..
€12 in for that.. wouldnt waste me money again I tell ya.

Lillies is a joke. There's the normal area which people who've never been before stay, the VIP area where anybody can go not probs but people are too embaressed to try and the library where the so called celebs - at it's all Z list - go. I've been three times in a decade - once for a corporate thing - and that's more than enough for a lifetime. The attitudes are funny to watch though. One woman tried to get into the library, bouncer said no and she then pretended to have a conversation with him in order that people would think she was such a regular she knew him, rather than looking like she had been rejected. Didn't work though:)

walked into Lillies once and walked straight back out. A friend of mine was drinking at a table there one night with some people and a bloke from and irish boyband.Anyway she was'nt lapping up his jokes so he told the bouncers, infront of everyone to "remove her fromn his presence" .

It wasnt westlife or anything. I think it was one of the lads from Zoo

There has been a notable absence on the Music scene for the past two months that may have caused concern to the naked eye of those on the outside but to those in the ZOO camp however it has never been as exciting. There is a storm rising beneath the surface that is set to hit the music world with an enormous bang. Hidden away from the public for the past 8 weeks the guys have been working in locations such as London England, Sweden, France and of course there home town Dublin on what is surely going to be one of the albums of the year. With critics question the bands release of covers like Poison and I wanna be your lover, Zoo have been in the studio feeling they had a point to prove and come out fighting they will. There Debut album is set to silence even the most sceptical, incorporating there own self penned songs along with the worlds best.....

(No, I haven't heard of them either) I also took the liberty of highlighting the mistakes, not including the lack of commas.
