had problem recently with speakers on pc, all went wrong when i connected 4 speakers + base (with sep power supply) to laptop from pc. laptop was playing speakers perfectly, but when i reconnected speakers back to pc, only 2 worked instead of 4. i ran creative diagnostics, and it only plays back two, but the strange thing is the front right distributes power. so the power works, but i think i might of blown the front two in the transition from laptop to pc, any tips ?

You have to set the pc out put to 5.1

There is a good few threads on this here recently.

Go to sounds and output and make sure it is set to 5.1
