I'm a long suffering Leinster fan and season ticket holder.

My wife is from Kerry and wants to put that shagging Munster car sticker given out free with the CORK Examiner yesterday on to our lovely new car.

Am I within my rights to punch her?

    Yes, with full immunity.

Don't do it Snickers Man. By all means adopt Munster as your team on Saturday but don't put up the sticker!

She would probably punch you back alot harder if you did - after all, she's from Munster!

I understand your predicament.. I'm a Corkman living in Meath married to a Meath woman - it was a bit tense with the father-in-law for the semi-final.

I made sure to get in there first with our baby girl though (see attached pic)... she's a lifelong fan!

    Everybody say:'Awwww'

My turncoat son has a similar one, only in a larger size.

    And he's not as cute.

    Adorable! :D
Get them young ... worked on me, and all the previous generations of my family! Having said that I'm one of the few not in Munster

To SnickersMan, we had a similar situation with my parents when Limerick and Offaly were in the hurling final in 1994 iirc (I've a parent from each county). Talk about tension! If your wife has managed to talk your son into supporting Munster, that's a greater victory than having the sticker on the car. Don't punch her, just tell her calmly and politely that you don't want the sticker on the care. Seems reasonable to me. :)

You'll think you're able to punch her, you'll talk all week about how you're gonna smack her good but when it comes down to it you'll probably bottle it.

If you have two cars, let her put it on her car.

then let the air out of the tires and drive away laughing.
