help me please - problems logging in

Hey guys,
got myself an ibook about a month ago, im new to mac but really happy with it, starting to see what the fuss is all about, just having trouble logging into some sites like flickr and gmail, im using mozilla, the newest version afaik, i was using safari but i couldnt log into gmail so i tried mozilla instead, all was well til about a week ago and i started having trouble logging in.

Its probably something stupid and really small, any help or advice appreciated

Have you changed your password recently? Try clearing the cache and any saved passwords associated with gmail. Maybe that might work.

tried deleting passwords and clearing the cache, same thing is still happening, it tries to load for ages and then the connection times out, im connecting to the internet using the wireless network in college, would that make any difference?

i can log into college email and boards and other sites no problem just flickr and gmail that are causing hassle

Try other bowsers - Camino, Firefox, Microsoft IE - what happens with them?

Maybe gmail is blocked by the college's firewall. Is anyone else able to get into gmail in the college?
