Playing big hands in unopened pots from the blinds

I'm looking for some general advice on how people play hands such as AJ+ and QQ+ from the blinds when noone has entered the pot.

For example against an average villain who isn't bothered defending his blinds, is it better to complete on the SB with these hands and check on the BB or do people prefer to raise anyway?

Thoughts would be appreciated as I feel I'm not extracting enough out of big hands in these situations.

BTW I'm talking about cash game strategy here.

raise your big hands at the very least people will fold and you win the blinds.
otherwise they will possibly think you are trying to steal and you get paid anyway. thats how i play anyway.

Why do you want someone to fold headsup preflop when you have Aces? I want alot more than his big blind!

ah now AA is different just make up the BB. chances are unless he hits the flop hel fold to a bet but that cant be helped i suppose.

I raise them automatically. If your opponent is almost always folding, raise with any two.

Yes it seems like you aren't getting paid enough in them, but that's going to be true whatever you do. If everyone folds round to the SB there's rarely going to be a big pot.
