Dissension Deck Idea

    here's an idea i came up with looking at the card "writ of passage" from dissension. its a funky little deck that had great success online:

    4x Adarkar Wastes
    4x Hallowed fountain
    7x island
    7x plains

    4x Ninja of the Deep Hours
    4x Mistblade Shinobi
    4x Tallowisp
    4x Lantern Kami
    4x Azorius Herald
    4x Court Hussar

    4x Umezawa's Jitte
    4x Writ of passage
    4x Faith's Fetters
    2x Shining Shoal

    The basic aim of the deck is to get ninjas on the field using cheap evasion creatures (lantern kami, azorius herald). with tallowisp on the field, replaying these creatures gets faith's fetters or the writ, which leads to good unblockable ninja times. recurring azorius herald can also give huge life gain, and is great against aggro decks when used to fetch faith's fetters. court hussar is there to fetch out combo pieces, then can be forecasted with writ of passage, attack, enable ninja then get to reuse his ability. it all works very well, although tier one may not be quite where its at. any thoughts/improvements?

    Looks tight. I more or less missed the whole Kamigawa block so I don't think I'm really qualified to comment unfortunately. I did think the Azorious herald would be amazing when I saw it, it's a great card and has obvious synergy with ninjas. Maybe condemn in the SB for aggro matchup?

    (I've been staying away from blue white lately, I'm still working on a thoroughbred hellbent build that doesn't lose to every other deck in existence. Maybe in block is the way forward...)
