Play REAL Stuff without the REAL Player?

    Is it possible? Here on the college computers, and the only thing they have is poxy Windows Media Player. To make things worse, I don't have admin privileges so I can't install anything!

    Any ideas? I gotta watch something off the RTE Website....

    Well there is the Real Alternative it comes with (an older version of ) MPC to playback the Real files which you'll need to associate with in the view->options->format then click the box for all.

    Of course if you cant install RealA then I'm not sure of another method VLC might but I dont really use it so I'm not sure.

    Yep what 8T8 said, Real Alternative works fine for playing streaming content on rte.ie
