    SUDDYN BIO

SUDDYN the rock quartet from NY are taking Ireland by storm. With a compelling combination of edgy guitar driven rock, broody melodic piano arrangements and soulful lyrics, their unique sound has allowed SUDDYN to achieve much coveted and richly deserved chart success.

SUDDYN's debut single "Drowning Souls" (“Epic" - Chad Smith, Red Hot Chilli Peppers) was released via Vibe Music on Feb 17th 2006 with phenomenal success.
"Drowning Souls" was a top ten hit for 2 consecutive weeks peaking at No.8!

Unprecedented demand for their single has put SUDDYN in the enviable position of Best Selling Unsigned Act in Ireland in over a year. (Copies of which are still ringing up steady online sales)

SUDDYN have undertaken an extensive tour of Ireland tallying in excess of 80 gigs, a number of which were with such luminaries on the local scene as Paddy Casey, Republic Of Loose, Relish, The Answer, The Revs, The Blizzards, Leya, Larrkin Love and Director.
As a result of relentless countrywide touring in 2005 and 2006 together with an excellent chart performance of its debut single, SUDDYN has already accumulated a growing loyal fan base.

On hearing SUDDYN's sound, Paul Linehan (The Frank And Walters) was so impressed he offered his services on the production front. This interest culminated in Paul taking the production credits on track two, "Throwing Shapes" on their debut single. Many national and regional radio stations including 2FM and TODAY FM are now airing “Throwing Shapes”.

SUDDYN's success has whipped up a media frenzy both in Ireland and in the USA. National radio play, worldwide ring tone sales, television exposure such as NTL’s City Channel and TG4's Pop4, plus countless radio, newspaper and magazine interviews are putting Suddyn in the spotlight and opening the door for bigger and better things.
