    Hi

    My lovely 4 month old samsung x50 laptop has developed 2 hairline cracks on the front 2 corners,

    I just noticed them today. It hasn't been dropped or anthing, however it was in an extremely cold car overnight. there is no apparent hardware damage = i'm writing this from it. however i want to get the part replaced anyways.

    What should i do and should this be covered under warranty

    Hi digiking,

    In regards to your warranty, it depends on the particulars in your warranty. Have you got a copy of the warranty? Otherwise, if not covered, i would advise checking out ebay as there are plenty of parts for my laptop on it going relatively cheap. Mine is a dell but id imagine you could get a new part for yours as well. Let us know how you get on
