    Heya.

I'm a complete newbie to photography, and found a Minolta SRT-100b to play with in the house, its old but in good condition. It's a 35mm film SLR and I've a 50mm lense and a telephoto 135mm, with TTL as its only feature and manual everything else. I'm looking to just snap things now and then, and I'm not too finicky about quality.

What sorta film should I get for just fun snaps like friends, buildings, scenery, nothing particularly fast - 100/200/400? Where should I get them printed? - as cheap as possible without being horrendous quality as I'm a student and it's mainly for fun not professional perfectionism. What sorta prices am I looking at for film and development?

Lastly, I found two flashes with the camera, but they're cold shoed and are missing backcovers. Do I really need a flash for most photos - ie friends/scenery, or can I adjust with exposure length?
