    Hi.
Could anyone recommend good photo editing software for a PC?
I've used Jasc Paint Shop Pro before just wondering what good alternatives there are?

    Cheers.

It depends on if you want just basic editing of photos to get them ready for printing or proper editing i.e. Photoshopping.

    I use PIcassa and GIMP.

I would be using the software mostly for photo editing - resizing, red-eye removal, tweaking photos from a digital camera. also for creating and manipulating images.
I haven't heard of GIMP. I think I may have downloaded Picasa before.
    Is GIMP freeware?

Gimp and Picasa are fairly good.

aye gimp is good, its the closest you'll get to photoshop without selling your first born to pay for it, picassa is ok i suppose, not enough options imo

As above, or Adobe Photoshop Elements may suit.
