I have a problem in that I cannot shave, for various medical reasons it is not safe for me. (not a skin problem, it is to do with my hands).

Does anyone know if there is a hair removal cream that can be used on the face? Iv looked at all the veet etc ones in the supermarket but they all say not to use on face.... is that because of them worrying about you sueing if it gets in your eyes? Or is there another reason?

This is a big problem for me, my beard is horrible. :(

What about going to an old fashioned barbers and getting a shave there ?

Instead of using a blade, can you use an electric razor?

That can get quite expensive if you need to shave every 2/3 days, or if you need to look tidy every day.

Maybe you could put lots of foundation over it and no one would notice....

Have you asked your doctor what other men with your medical difficulties do?

I think its more that the skin on your face is a lot more sensative than other places.

And I think waxing your face would merely pull skin off.

Barbers are pricey. I like going for a good hot-towel shave, but it's something I only do as a treat.

    Electrolysis might be an answer.
I don't know how it would work out if you had a heavy growth though.
